Weather forecast for summer 2023. What date to choose for a holiday at the Polish seaside?
Let's start with the weather. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management prepared a weather forecast for the coming months: June 2023, July 2023, August 2023 and we have a reason to be delighted! If the forecasts turn out to be true, the weather will be fine and the temperature in July and August will be above average. We can expect above 30°C! Rainfall totals will be within the normal range.

Why choose Jastrzębia Góra to spend your holidays at the seaside?
The highlight of Jastrzębia Góra is definitely the white sand beach and the surrounding natural cliff coastline. The cliff reaches a height of 33 metres. This was one of the reasons why the Światowid lift was built in the interwar period – it was a tower with a lift to the beach that carried 60,000 people per year. Unfortunately, it no longer exists (as a result of erosion, the tower tilted by 1.5 metres in the 1970s and then collapsed on the beach in the 1980s). The promenade ‘Promenada Światowida’ leading to the vantage point used to be the road leading to this unusual structure (a photo of Światowid from Pintrest). Now the exit to beach number 24 is also located there.
The cliffs are a great vantage point. We recommend going there one evening to watch the sunset, whether from the Jastrzębia Góra vantage point or the vantage point in Słowackiego street (photos of footpaths along the cliffs).
The descent to Beach 25 in the vicinity of Villa Buki is not that steep compared to the other part of Jastrzębia Góra. The beaches are not overcrowded even during the holidays – there is always a place for you and your loved ones.
The northernmost point of the Polish coastline is located in Jastrzębia Góra – Gwiazda Północy (North Star).

Seaside holidays with catering
When choosing options with catering, it is worth paying attention to standards and customer reviews of the restaurant or the buffet. Based on customer reviews we can often tell whether we can count on the highest quality of service and food and on a varied diet in a given resort with catering. Reviews at a level of 5.0 – i.e. perfect – may be fake, while a level of 3.0 suggests that many people who took the time to write comments were very displeased. There are no perfect reviews in the catering industry – everyone has different tastes and expectations, for example with regard to the seasoning and preparation of dishes, which may result in 4 stars instead of 5. For this reason, it is worth paying particular attention to restaurants with above 4.0 reviews.
Another important factor to consider on a seaside holiday with catering is the variety of dishes on the menu for dinner. Good reviews, a variety of dishes on the menu mean that you are sure to find something for yourself and your loved ones. Let's take Villa Buki as an example – breakfast is served in the form of a buffet, and everyone can choose something they like. Dinner – in our Bar Morski restaurant, 150m away, where you can choose not only dishes prepared for a given day, but also fish, pizza or delicious pierogi (a voucher worth PLN 50 for a person per day). This variety and quality of food ensures that our guests never get bored with the food during their stay and are satisfied with their choice.
What to do when the weather during a seaside holiday is not good?
Resorts that include additional facilities, such as a spa and a wet zone, are an excellent choice as they allow us to relax and enjoy our stay even on a cloudy day. Villa Buki offers a range of treatments for both men and women, as well as the option of using the wet spa area with a Finnish bath, steam sauna, sun baths (regular and collagen bath to firm the skin), Kneipp path, sensation shower with aromatherapy and hydrotherapy, and Sundance Spas jacuzzi with a hydromassage. You can enjoy all these facilities even when the weather is fine!!! 🙂 There is a fitness area for gym enthusiasts (with Technogym equipment: a treadmill, an elliptical trainer and a stationary bike) on the roof of the building (in a covered area).
Holidays at the seaside with children. What to visit with your kids in and around Jastrzębia Góra?
The Wax Museum in Jastrzębia Góra is definitely worth a visit. Boys will want to take a photo with Robert Lewandowski and girls with Justin Bieber.
We also recommend the Upside Down House, the miniature lighthouse park in Rozewie (a 30-minute walk from the resort), and the Butterfly Conservatory (for more information, see the post Jastrzębia Góra attractions).
In the case of poor weather Villa Buki offers a recreation room with a play area, games (Xbox Kinect or Playstation), board games, a gymnastics area, dart and table tennis.
You can also take a trip to the Aquparku w Redzie (a 35 minutes' drive from Jastrzębia Góra), where adults are sure to enjoy themselves as well.
